About Mathew Bacik
Mathew Bacik grew up in Battle Creek, Michigan and is a multi-year starting kicker for Grand Valley State University. Since earning the starting role in his redshirt freshman season, he has built a reputation for performing in pressure moments, including connecting on 53 and 54-yard field goals against nationally ranked programs like West Florida and Ferris State.
Away from the field, Bacik is an exercise science major who has earned multiple Dean's List recognitions and GLIAC Academic Excellence honors, and scholarships including the Thompson Working Families Achiever Scholarship, Aaron W. Howard Scholarship, and the Charles H. and Florence Irwin Scholarship. As he continues to grow his platform, he is focused on building partnerships with businesses where both sides can create value and build authentic connections.
